**Czech Foreign Ministry says Putin spreads nonsense about Zelenskyy's "illegitimacy" because he's afraid of him**

The Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that Vladimir Putin has never been elected in a free and fair election, which is why he spreads false claims about the "illegitimacy" of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

On the third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Czech Foreign Ministry reiterated that Putin’s lack of democratic legitimacy fuels his fear of Zelenskyy, leading him to spread baseless accusations.

"While Russia claims to seek an end to the conflict, its actions only escalate aggression," the ministry stated.

The Czech Foreign Ministry emphasized that Russia’s aggression, ongoing since 2014, remains a threat not just to Ukraine but to the entire free world.

"We stand firmly in support of Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. Borders cannot be changed by force—we will continue to recognize Crimea, as well as parts of the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions, as inseparable parts of Ukraine. Any future agreements must reflect this undeniable reality," the ministry added.

Zelenskyy recently responded to Donald Trump’s claim that his approval rating in Ukraine was just 4%, saying that Trump had fallen victim to Russian disinformation.

  • Trump then accused Zelenskyy of being a dictator and suggested that Ukraine must act quickly if it wants to survive.
  • The New York Post, a conservative newspaper known to be favored by Trump, ran a front-page article clarifying that the real dictator is Vladimir Putin.
